I don’t car if porsche never changes as long as they keep finding ways to make a disproportioned rear engined car look good and handle just as equally well. They’ve been on top of that up to date 
Until they accidentally discovered that MR was a better setup and had to down play the Cayman just to make sure the sales for the flag ship 22+ models of 911 didn’t drop.
Plus 911 will just about always win in the looks department.
