One of the UK’s most successful premium vehicle brand retailers, Dick Lovett, has become the newest member of KTM’s national sales and service network for the X-BOW. Dick Lovett will represent the Austrian sportscar brand across south Wales and south-west England.
A dedicated KTM display at will be installed at Dick Lovett’s flagship Swindon site, aligning X-BOW with Lovett’s other franchises, including Ferrari, Maserati and Porsche. One of the top 40 dealer groups in the UK, Dick Lovett becomes the sixth and final member of KTM’s national network.
Jeff Lau, KTM’s X-BOW manager in the UK, said: “To have a UK network partner of the stature of Dick Lovett on board is great news for KTM and the X-BOW. As a heavyweight dealer group, its strengths in premium sportscar retailing dovetail well with our other network partners across the UK, which are particularly strong in niche vehicle and motorsport sectors. We look forward to working closely with the Dick Lovett team over the next few months to ensure we maximise the opportunities presented by the summer season.”
Edward Lovett, dealer principal at the Swindon site, said: “We’re delighted to become involved with one of the world’s most exciting new sportscars. KTM is a very strong motorcycle brand with a great heritage and we’re confident that it will grow significantly in the UK as a four-wheel brand.
“The X-BOW is a real head-turner, and is exceptional in its concept, execution and quality. I’m looking forward to working with KTM and the other network partners in the UK to deliver first-class retail and aftersales service to current and prospective X-BOW customers.”
The completed national service partner network now includes:
• Carlin Motorsport, Chessington (London and south-east England)
• Racing Line, Milton Keynes (Midlands)
• ABG Motorsport, Runcorn (north-west England and north Wales)
• Hangar 111, nr Ipswich (East Anglia)
• Drivestyle Horseless Carriages, Harrogate (Yorkshire, Humberside and Teeside)

KTM’s network partners act as agents for retail sales of X-BOW cars and KTM’s exclusive PowerWear and PowerParts ranges in their respective areas, and are responsible for aftersales service and repair.
The legendary Austrian bike manufacturer’s first foray into the four-wheeled arena has been met with near universal critical acclaim and multiple award wins. A X-BOW GT4 model is participating in the SuperSports class of the 2009 British GT championship.
