i was driving around today and saw this truck that did not make it under a rail road bridge. i thought i was having a bad day.

Someone died from something like this around here years ago. It was on big Tree in Hamburg. The truck didn’t clear and metal debris went through the windshield of the car behind it killing the driver.
classmate of mine had that happen back in like 97. truck hit the railroad bridge as his mom was drivin under, somehow flipped over and smashed his moms side of the car.
can you imagine, watching your mom getting squished right next to you?

The Big Tree Rd. incident was an old friend of mines mother… It wasn’t metal debris, the truck was hauling a large steam roller, and it was ripped off the truck and crushed her car.

Speaking of didn’t make it… Around 7 last night all 3 lanes of 290W were shut down at Main street, traffic was passing by moving onto the on/off ramp lane to get past. A silver Trailblazer was unnaturally rounded, as if it had rolled a few times. :ohnoes: That chunk of highway appears to be cursed…

I remember that happening. I was sitting outside the school when it happened and we could hear all the commotion.

it was during the walkathon I think. I sat out that year because of my hip surgeries.
A few years ago my stepdad’s dumbass alcoholic boss was pulling a trailer with a small crane on it, and he decided to drive with the bucket raised up.:picard: He didn’t make it under the first bridge, and I guess they had to close rt.62 for 3 hours to clean up the mess. Luckily nobody was behind him.
That must be why wegmans is out of kegs. Hopefully they’ll get some soon so I can turn in all these pop can tabs I have.
