Do i have a ghost?

I got home from work last night around 7pm. Walked in my front door and noticed this black stuff scattered all over the living room floor. I looked closer and the entire bottom shelf of my TV stand was shattered all over the living room. The glass was scattered all the way over to the couch 10ft away, which makes me think it exploded up and out of the entertainment center. There was nothing placed on this shelf and nothing mounted on the wall that could have fallen and broken it. So i must have an angry ghost

turn down the bass, fuckin thug!

lol jk…thats pretty bizzarre

That blows.

Definetly a ghost. haha

the only thing i can think of is an electrical discharge from that power strip surged through the glass and made it explode :gotme:

Looks to me like the shelf fell down and broke.

Jeller

cat

no place to fall from, it was on that lower part, supported by 4 rubber stoppers screwed into that lower frame piece

my g/fs one hampster did escape around 2 months ago and we never found him, but unless he’s got into some teenage mutant ninja turtle-type ooze i dont think he could do that.

lol

Did the glass support the center in anyway?

Maybe it got contorted and the stress finally made it blow.

no center support, but there was nothing on that shelf i dont know what could have caused it to sag and break then.

ghost? no.
shitty shelf? yes.

probably just inherent stress in the glass and it’s own weight caused it’s failure.

gf did it :gotme:

WTF!!! now im a little creeped out, a window on the 2nd story of my office building just fell out and shattered outside my office window onto the sidewalk.

just happened, 2 min ago:

someone was in your house

that was my original thought, that maintenance had come in and accidently dropped a hammer or something on it. But that would have made it collapse inward, not explode outward into the living room.

you took it to work …i think it is just telling you to jump
