I have been looking around and every time I see anything about the ignitor chip it always says s13,s14 and no s15.I am kinda hoping that it doesnt so I can sell the one i got and make a few extra bucks.
As far as I know, the S15 motor still has coil packs, and I"m under the assumption that you need an ignitor to use coils. Then again, I could be wrong.
Try emailing heavythrottle.com they will know for sure. Most Nissans have Ignitor chips reardless of what kind of ignition system they have.
Well I just founf out that an S15 does not need an ignitor because the ignitors are built into the individual coils.This is a good thing because now I have an extra coil that I can sell
