where? mine was made in brasil… ive owned both mexican and german built VWs…oh and a american made one(westmoreland,pa) 84 Rabbit… honestly i couldnt tell the difference. all use the same materials, VW did it to cut import costs… and labor costs im sure. even hondas are made in canada. chevy makes cars in canada, the only chevy made exclusivly in the US is the Corvette, and hopefully that never changes.
