To talk about the leaf springs in a Z06 and have it not handle as well as it possible could have…its kinda rediculous to say untill you have planted your ass in one of them…Im sorry, but I do not know any import that has ran a mid 11 second quarter Bone stock…to say that leaf springs dont work for the Z06 is absurd. The handling on the Z06, is like nothing I have ever experienced before…its different to say things and put a car down that you have never ridden in, then to actually feel what its like…not to mention, making 500rwhp at 4500K and over 500rwtq by 2000k is nothing to joke about.

As a personal thought the zo6 corvette is an amazing car which uses amazingly old technology. My only quesion is how great could this car be if it were to incorporate modern technology. Those leaf springs are tuned in perfectly you could argue but there still the technology of a long long time ago. Instead of having fuel saving technology Chevy decides to make u skip second gear under light technology and make a ridiculous 6th gear. I do not know how they will be able to improve on the corvette for the c7 without making some very serious changes.
I hate to be labeled a redneck because I like american muscle cars. If only there was a RX7 in “Smokey and the Bandit”, a 300ZX in “Dukes of Hazzard” or Toyotas in NASCAR… Then who would be the redneck? Yeehaww Shes got a V-TEC!! lol. :ponderThere are Toyotas in NASCAR

Pinks is one of the worst shows I watched. The racing is never actually run on a tree and the cars are usually terribly missmatched. There is so much room for them to cheat its a discrace to all automotive competition. One guy is always faster and the other is always crying “I need 4 more car lengths!” :stfu
there are Toyotas in Nascar and as well as old muscle cars in fast and the furious and i hate how fast and the furious made it sound like the name for nitrous is NOS, NOS is a fucking brand of nitrous. it’s one of those little things that bugs me when people say “oh he has nos, you gonna use nos?” :angry2 :runaway ;D

You say old technology for one reason and only one reason… Pushrods. Other than that the ZO6 Corvette has the technology of a Formula 1 race car. Yes OHV engines have there downfall with heavy valvetrain but over the years there has been alot of development done to these engines to the point that the ONLY thing low tech about them is the fact that they are pushrod/OHV geometry. Not to say OHC/DOHC isnt better. Because we all know that it is superior and GM knew this in the early 60s when experimenting with OHC engines for racing. Still I too wonder why GM didnt stick with the N* or LT5 engine lines for performance vehicles
