Facing sensitive subjects head on is one of my favorite things to do, you hear things that are worth listening to. When the subject is bland or comfortable that’s when people tend to spew garbage, strike a nerve though and everyone brings their best to the table.

Everyone has their own opinion and I totally respect that. This thread exists to stir the pot but some posts are ridiculous at best. It gets tiring to read them and try to explain something that I assumed most people who even bother with the subject would know.

The fact of the matter is, no one choice is correct in truth. Anything debated will be over opinion which is useless becuase an opinion can’t be “wrong” , philisophically speaking.

looking at peak HP and ET/Trap times and somehow from that generating an answer to “which is better, domestic or import?” is FUCKING ridiculous
imports do not have the displacement to make huge power gains on N/A correct? which there is nothing wrong with that. Have you ever seen the torque curve on a supra? it isnt as flat as a v8, torque is what gets you down the track, and i know there are a lot of cars out there that have a lot of torque, but it also matters where you have torque, a v8 will have way more torque across the band then a 6 or 6 cylinder turbo, thats why an N/A v8 can run with a 700hp 4 or 6 sylinder turbo, now i know it doesnt happen all the time and maybe my numbers are off but its true, and im sorry you dont understand
