DONT BUY FROM HENGSTER

Bought this sr20 ignitor chip that supposdly was “working” and charged like 130 for it, i didnt really cared for the price as i needed bad to get my car started … all said and done went to the shop to try out and crank crank some more crank and no go … then swapped ignitors and bang it started right up … then i called several times, left messages on this site and still nothing … so this message is to anyone that tries to deal with him in the future to beware his parts are shit…

I JUST GOT BACK INTO TOWN AND WATS THIS UR SAYIN THAT THERES DIFFERENT SERIAL NUMBERS, OR DIFFERENT TYPES OF INGITORS FOR SR20?. I WILL TAKE IT BACK IF IT WORKS ON MY CAR LIKE IT DID WEN I SOLD IT TO YOU. I REALLY DONT SEE HOW IT CAN STOP WORKING ARE U SURE U DIDNT FUCK IT UP SOMEHOW?

talked to hengster today and got everything sorted out … sorry if i seemed like a dick but get ur self in my position … paying shop fees and parts … and still not have the car running … and then u try to get some kind of feed back from the guy you bought the part from and he doesnt pick up for a whole weekend till today … anyhow is sorted now

good to hear! :partyman:

ya man good to hear you sorted it out. I dealt with him a few weeks ago, good guy. Hows the tires man?

alot of people have been and are in that position, no need to freak out though dude…

everything can be solved, you just must be patient and dont put deadlines on projects or else you will just get madly frustrated.

yah no kidding about the deadlines … im never doiing that again … so many little things that came up needed along the way …i was frustrated cause i wanted it ready by the weekend but oh well shit happens… was sick of walking to work in the morning …and then there was some tunning to be done and stuff after when it started … but it was soooooo worth it at the end … now that i have all the knowledege… well most of it i would do it again

Projects cars are fun as you work on them here and there and when you done have a deadline then it is just a gradual progression that is fun. It allows you to wait for parts or labor without being such a headache, just don’t vent frustrations on one person like the whole reason the car wasn’t drivable was because of him. I have had many project cars and patience is the best answer or else there would be many frustrated winters and summers.

project cars are fun, as long as they aren’t your daily driver.

Here here man… My daily driver is my project car and I’ve had some very frustrating weeks.

Garret will have an opinion about this whole thread, and then he will write it, and none of us will care! :finga:

There are allot of people on this site that will fuck you over.
