donut brass fitting in fuel line

hey,

while working on the car a small brass donut shapped fitting in the fuel line by the rail fell out.

I don’t know if it came from the return line or feed line… anyone know what the hell I’m talkin’ about? heh

also… I forgot which is the return and which is the feed line on the rail… haha. they’re right beside either and I put the project on hold for a few days, got back, and now I can’t remember :confused:

anyone? please, I went through the FSM and the fuel rail illustration is absolutely useless / doesn’t mention anything about the fitting.

so no one has modified an S14 fuel system hmm?

so I figured out what it is, it’s a pulsation damper. most fuel rails it looks like the image below (feed connects with a banjo) but I guess for the Zenki nissan decided to go medival.

this thing is impossible to miss when modifying an S14 Zenki fuel rail, I’m suprised no one has come across it.
