this may be a dumb question but i confused myself so here it goes, right now i have no cat on my car, if i get a new downpipe does that come with a cat or are these 2 separate pieces i need to buy? please help clarify this for me thanks.
Look at the listing, if it says anywhere off-road use only, there is no cat, or a legal one for that matter. You can find them as two seperate parts or a package deal. I would call before placing any order just to confirm or post the link so someone could take a look and give you a yay or nay.
What vehicle is this for? Stock/aftermarket replacement? There really is no way to answer your question without more information.

2004 srt4 I’m looking to be putting the stock 2.25 inch exhaust back on but I need a cat and I don’t really know if I would need a new dp as well
The stock dp has the cat on it if you can find one.
