Downpipe Block-off Plug

Hey guys,

I’m looking into removing that stupid AIV and at the moment, I don’t have a welder, so I can’t really weld the bung on the downpipe where the metal pipe coming from the AIV goes, so I thought I’d go over to the dealership and buy the downpipe block-off plug.

I wanted to ask if anyone knows what the part number for the downpipe plug is.

Help would be greatly appreciated.

Are you currently located in guelph?

I have a welder in K-W, if you need a hand welding it up I can do it.

I have a plug which might fit it aswell.

Hmm I ordered 2 of these about a year back when I installed my header, their like $8 each or something. I’ll see if i can find the part number for you.

Hey guys,

I just checked the downpipe and found out that the area where the pipe goes in is pretty rusted, so its unlikely that I’ll be able to take it out easily… It’ll likely have to be welded…

They are always rotten. I’ve never heard of anyone succesfully getting that sucker off.
