I got word back from the track they are super happy about the turnout and the momentum. Sure they want more people and more participants but less standing burnouts on the track…ahem Lucas next time I’m karate’ing your door panel if I see you.

word of caution to everyone, don’t do the bank if you do not have the following
either:
- sr/ ka-t etc etc.
OR
- welded/2way
if you don’t have either of these i say do not attempt this oval.
i was running a vlsd with semi sticky tires in the back (st-115) and i only cleared 1/2 the corner and gripped back. oval was definetly hard with an underpowered car with a vlsd and semi sticky tires.

Yeah even the Hachi that has some balls ran out of momentum. He linked it later on but you need to dive in pretty hard and stay on it.
But then again GT Champion in his DOHC? He ripped the whole bank but his entry speed…woohoo pedal down.
As I mentioned to a few of you guys, I’m requesting to add more pavement to the infield, move some barriers in which case we will have an Irwindale high speed bank scenario.
Won’t happen without loads of involvement.
