We’d liked to thank everyone who came out. I hope everyone had a great time, I know I did. I’m sure all of you that came out will agree that it was worth the extra drive to drift on a dry track. I saw a lot of people improve throughout the day.
Any feedback you guys have about the day would be greatly appreciated.
I thought everything was actually quite well run. Things went really smoothly and everyone was very cooperative.
People all seemed to be very inclined to help out. I noticed that whenever you guys made a decision, everyone spread the word very quickly and people were very responsible about it. I also noticed that everyone was paying very good attention out at the track, looking as far ahead as possible and slowing down a good distance before anyone who had whiped out or spun around on the track.
Nobody hesitated to help out when there was mud on the track that needed to be swept. In fact there weren’t enough brooms for all the people volunteering to sweep.
Lots of great seat time for anyone who went. 8 hours of SOLID track time! TOO much fun!
Thanks again to Chris, Wayne and everyone else who set this up, and Kendrick even though he couldn’t come out this time. I know how much effort you all put into this stuff, and how much you’re putting on the line to put this together for us, and it’s really appreciated.
Well worth the drive and nearly totaling my car to the wall and bent camber arm as well as some other shits.
Note* Big thanks to WillX and Flying Chicken for coming up with a ghetto idea to fix my camber arm and helping me with it, went straight back to drifting after that and still DD’ing with this until I find some time to order Battle Version camber arms!
That was awesome. I just couldn’t stop driving. Well, except for as you can see in the vids, the 5 minutes prodigy and I spent trying to get the Celica rolling again.
23 years, 430,000 km … just can’t hurt that car.
1 fusible link and launching my entire exhaust into the infield was a very small price to pay for 171 km of Toyota abuse!!!
Madness. I can honestly say that’s the most fun I’ve ever had.
