DriftOps and CoolKidsClub is bringing part 2 with help from Sailun Tires!

After an excellent and successful first day, we’re back with another day!

Date: Aug. 7th, 2011
Time: 9am, to 5pm
Where: Shannonville, Nelson Circuit
What: Drifting! (and lapping too!)
Cost: $150 prepaid before Aug. 5th $175 after
*Helmets for both driver and passengers Mandatory!

And, by popular demand, there will be a tire changer on site !

I dont know how to drift plus i have KA can i just do circuit?

Yes lapping is allowed, just clutch kick that slut and shell go sideways

you could drift guy. just get some speed and weight transfer. ive seen someone drift an auto-KA, 240sx vert with an open diff. im sure you’ll be able to manage.

i dont know where people get this idea that they need an SR to drift. If only they’d seen the ontario drift scene 5 years ago.

Yeah, it doesnt take much to drift. My buddy Brent only used one set of tires for the whole day and he’s got a stock KA. They were pretty much done, just have to flick and clutch kick! I’ll be there again to get some shots!

I drifted 2 years with a stock ka24E, vlsd and coils that was it. And it was stupid fun.

You just need to do third gear entries, with some serious weight transfers. Very fun shit. Plus you don’t rape tires.

When i was ka i use to go through max 1 pair of brand new tires through the entire day. cheap brand new tires.

Plus stock ka is super reliable.
