There is a transfer case attached to the transmission. Transfer case attaches the rear end with the driveshaft.

ok, so is it set up kinda like where the transfer case pops into the passenger side input for the tranny…like the jaguar x-type does?

trying to wiegh out a cheaper solution to s problem/project ive been working on
found one on ebay, but im confused by it now:
the hole for the shaft up front doesnt go all the way through like i thought it would…how does this work?
nvm…wont work…extra shaft on the tranny…right?
