Dual or quad video (PCI) card needed

I suppose I could ditch my higher end pci-e vid card if the right deal came up on a quad pci-e as well. Must have drivers for Win 7 64 bit.

So far this is looking like my best bet.

Matrox… WHY

Go with a Radeon Eyefinity 5850, 5870 or the more expensive 6XXX

This is for stock charts not gaming. I don’t need alot of horsepower and I would rather spend the left over $ on an LCD than a card I have no need for. I wasn’t real clear on the purpose for the card before.
Thanks for the suggestions though.

I have an ATI 1gb 5770 in the box already but think it only does 3 screens despite having 4 ports. I know only 3 can have unique rez per the documentation.

You are correct per the way Eyefinity works. If thats the case why not add a secondary PCI card, I still don’t see a good reason for a Matrox, FireGL or Quadro card.

That’s probably the way I’m going to go. PCI is slow but will suffice for my needs. Funny part is I may have one laying around but rather than look I’d rather snag one cheap from someone. LOL
