Dyno breaking 3000gt

Ya’ll might not be into these cars but this is one of the craziest ones in the world.

ok, were back from the dyno and all i have to say is THIS FUCKING CAR IS SICK!! you guys all know that i am waaaay far from a nut swinger. you guys really need to see this thing and the power is unmatched by anything 3S related

to keep the suspense away, ill tell you right off the bat that we dont have dyno numbers because the car is far too dangerous on the machine to dyno! we need to get more hold down straps.

it made 733 on a DYNO DYNAMICS dyno @ 17psi!!! the next run, was to be 24psi and the car spun the tires, climbed the front rollers, and almost flew off the dyno…sick vids to come!! right where the car builds boost (6000rpm) it ripped, spun, almost killed me so i let go 840awhp at 24psi @ only 6200 rpm.

needless to say its an animal and DEFINITLY makes waaaay over 1000 hp if we were to run more boost and re dyno with more hold downs.

sooo, were taking it to NG raw and tuning there… and yes i said we because IM COMING YAAAAAAAAAAY!!! BTW, Nelson will be driving and maybe i can talk him into letting me take it for a blast.

unreal fucking power… 3.6L plus biggins in the turbo department is just insane.

straight from the tuners mouth. Only 5 more days till we can see what she puts down at the national gathering. I see 1200awhp in its future. Just for reference the last time this car ran (3 months or so ago) it put down 935.7 AWHP. All on smaller turbos/block/ basically everything. :slight_smile:

O yea and this is through a automatic still I believe with a very very loose torque converter

:eek4: WOW, that is one serious setup. I don’t fall for the too fast for the dyno BS. There are plenty of cars out there (domestics usually) that put down that kind of power and hold the roller just fine. Sounds like they are doing something wrong when dyno’ing. Maybe AWD is different

yea awd is a little different figure in the bias is like 45 front and 55 rear. coupled with just a sick setup and it just lifts off the dyno lol.

sorry if it is a 5speed he has 3 of these cars this one is the street setup he has a track and a serious track car hes been running around on too.

gearhead no it doesnt overheat there is enough air getting to the rad. he just decided to put a huge intercooler there.

I must admit though, that car is very slick.

im sure its great for the dyno, and nothing else. i would have done it differently :down:

I personally know of FWD cars that have to run slicks on the dyno and still spin the tires on the rollers. anything over 650 or so in a FWD can spin the tires. when you get up around 800whp you have to have people stand on the doorsills and sit on the core support to hold the car down on slicks.

A few things I noticed. the dude loves chrome so he probably has a Harley somewhere in that garage and he also looks like a child molester which goes right along with the chrome and harley theme.

Also the guy in the video is not the owner, but he does have a harley and speed boats, bunch of modded cars. Just anything you would want as a “toy” he has it or has had it. But yes he loves chrome but his engine block is lavendar, orange,red and pink ect all fruity colors. He says “I love the look on peoples faces when they see the numbers”

as for the huge IC its great all around, you just have to see other pics theres alot of room between it and the radiator. and it has a vent to force air into the radiator ect. Believe me with all the billet and aluminum parts that car has in it, he doesnt want to blow it…again :stuck_out_tongue:
