Dyson Ball DC41 Animal Complete Upright Vacuum - Top model of 2012 - Brand New - $500

I have a brand new, unopened Dyson Ball DC41 Animal Complete for sale. It’s brand new, purchased from Kohl’s. It’s still in the retail plastic wrap.

These sell for $649.99 in stores. You’re not allowed to use coupons on them, either, but I bought it during the Black Friday swarm. Some stores sell last years DC41 Animal for $619.99, not even carrying the newest/top model.

I’m willing to sell it straight-out for $500.

Here’s a picture of the packaging/box you’ll receive:

DC41 Animal Complete includes:

Self-Adjusting Cleaner Head

Many upright vacuum cleaners use fixed settings and their cleaner heads don’t self-adjust to different floor types. And the bigger the gap between the cleaner head and floor, the more suction power that is wasted.
DC41 Animal Complete has an active base plate. It creates the optimum cleaner head contact for every floor type, reducing air leaks and retaining suction power on all floor types - wood, carpet, vinyl, and tile.

Tangle-Free Turbine Tool

Pet hair can gather in awkward spaces and get stuck on upholstery. The Tangle-Free Turbine Tool has counter-rotating heads with integrated brushes for removing pet hair and dirt. Because there’s no brush bar for hair to wrap around, more hair is released straight into the bin. It’s the only turbine tool that doesn’t tangle.

Instant Release High-Reach Wand

DC41 Animal Complete has an instant release, long-reach wand for cleaning stairs and hard-to-reach places - it stretches up to 5 times in length. There are no separate parts to assemble.

Extra Tools

DC41 Animal Complete comes with a tool bag containing a Stiff Bristle Brush, Soft Dusting Brush, Multi-Angle Brush, and Zorb powder. There’s also a Combination Tool and a Stair Tool. The Combination Tool has a debris nozzle that converts to a brush tool for dusting. The Stair Tool removes dirt and dust from corners and against the vertical edges of stairs.

Easy to Empty and No Extra Costs!

empties with the push of a button

Captures allergens, expels cleaner air

Dyson cyclones capture microscopic particles down to 0.5 microns in size, including pollen, mold, and bacteria.
Clear bin lets you see when it needs emptying

The bin on a Dyson vacuum cleaner is transparent so you can see when it needs emptying - and just how much dust, dirt and pet hair your new Dyson machine has picked up.
No extra costs

Other vacuum cleaners are still designed to need replacement bags and filters - and the cost soon adds up. Dyson vacuum cleaners don’t have bags and have washable filters, so there are no extra costs to worry about.

Ordinary upright vacuum cleaners are unwieldy and difficult to turn. The Ball steers smoothly with a turn of the wrist. The Ball provides improved maneuverability with less fatigue.

[U]5-year Parts and Labor Warranty

Your Dyson vacuum cleaner is likely to take a few bumps and bruises during everyday use - but that’s nothing compared to what Dyson puts its machines through during testing and development. All Dyson vacuum cleaners undergo a lengthy and rigorous testing program. That’s why DC41 Animal Complete comes with a 5-year warranty, parts and labor.

I have the “large” Dyson Animal; and the thing rocks; picks up more pet hair than anything else I’ve tried (including a shop-vac!)

I’ve got a DC33, these things are awesome.

I love my DC41 Complete, too. This is an extra one that’d I’d prefer sell, rather than get store credit at Kohl’s.
I bought my own DC41 Animal Complete on Black Friday, but then I got another one as a gift for my birthday two days later. OOPS…

Before getting the DC41 Complete, I had the #1 rated vacuum, Kenmore Progressive, from two years ago. I ran it through my downstairs and it got a ball of dog fur twice in a row. After that, I ran the Dyson DC41 and it got twice as much in one pass! There’s no comparison… the Dyson really is awesome! I think the “no loss of suction” thing is legit…

My favorite part so far is the snag-free attachment. You don’t have to pull hair out of the brushes every time you use the thing on the stairs or furniture! I HATED that about my last vacuum… always getting hair around the motor assembly.

I’ve got two of these, great machines

You can use coupons on these at Kohls, I bought one for $360.

boom

Link to coupon? The Dyson DC41 Animal Complete is Dyson’s top of the line model. Are you sure you got this one and not one of the other models??

Even with a 20% off coupon, you’ll still end up paying tax and it’ll be $649.99 - 20% (129) = 520 + 8.75% tax = $565.50…

Perhaps you got the yellow DC40?

Don’t be so quick to assume I’m an idiot and paid too much. I have a feeling he bought a lesser model…

Nope you’re kind of right, I bought the same vac just not with all the attachments, didn’t feel the need to spend 50 more for those. But I also got a crazy amount of kohls cash back too, like 100 bucks or something. Your price is definitely lower than retail and its a great vac.

 So, you got last year’s Purple one, not the Magenta one? Thanks for the clarification  Does that mean you got the older style turbine head with the spinning brush, which always clogs? :stuck_out_tongue:
The DC41 Complete comes with their newest turbine tool, which I LOVE. No more digging hair out of the thing!

I actually use the attachments, too, since I have a dog and high ceiling fans. I like the stair tool and the angled brush for my 10’ ceiling fans. So convenient  The dog hair gets everywhere and that stuff comes in handy. The ZORB powder is kind of dumb though… kind of a useless addition. I haven’t even tried it.

4 $100s

I wish I could give it away like that… but $500 is already a great price. Sorry man.

I have an old Dyson and it’s still rockin. These things suck…in a good way. GLWS

lol @ paying top dollar for these Dysons. I picked up a “refurbished” aka open box Dyson for $200. Boom.

Got mine on woot for cheap. You don’t get the full warranty with refurbished unfortunately.

Wow, you guys are way too into vacuums. All I can think of is doofy from scary movie.

My dad bought one of the refurbished DC24’s for $250 and the mirror died a year later. No warranty…

Seriously tho, these vacuums are the greatest thing ever. Like in the world. They pick up so much shit lol

SOLD on eBay for $550. Of course, eBay took $35. PayPal took $16. Shipping costs $40. Ha… I could have just sold it locally for $460 instead of $500!

eBay is such a rip off…

I remember when eBay and PayPal fees were literally nothing. Now you have to factor that in while selling, it’s the worst.
