I’m fairly certain of the color i want to paint my car, but talking with an apparently very popular and influential forum member named “bing” has me concerned about resale down the road. Whatever it is it has to look good with these wheels:
The color I want (it is a BMW color, i have never seen it on an e30)
Other considerations:
Gunmetal
Do not suggest:
I like a few blues, but my sti and range are both blue… i already had 3 red cars at one point and it was weird… (turbo civic, elise and geo prism)
my vote’s gunmetal, looks hot/easy to clean and maintain/good resale value/very unique with those wheels
I can’t believe I’m saying this, but the green would rock on that car, with that wheel combination. Any other time, that color would remind me of snot after inhaling brake dust all day.

Gunmetal will be hot on E30zzz w/those.
Otherwise the green is meh, okay.
Gunmetal is normally hot on E30’s, but with those wheels the green will look good.
any of the above… white looks good on modern cars… i dont look at an e30 as a modern styled car… e46… now white looks good even e36…
That green is one of my favorite colors.
I vote with the OP.

gunmetal doesnm’t look that good. I think it should be a darker color.
So either a Darker silver or just stick with the green. You’re already thinking about selling this damn thing. :lol:
Silver is the only choice for vintage German cars so I guess gunmetal is the closest option.

i think m3 alpine white with those wheels would look great. But any of those colors will all look decent either way.
