I was thinking more a pale cream color, subtle yet different, and not terribly tacky. A color used on some older cars more specifically. But even a really light gold (champagne?) would look quite a bit better.

i would go for a grayish metallic color, like gunmetal, graphite, pewter, etc…
or, flat black

the hatch is urban green, i wonder if the bike is too… i REALLY like the color of the bike… it looks lighter and yellower… but maybe it’s just the lighting?
