Ebay of the day : Not your average 3000GT

to me it screams “i havent tied up all the loos ends yet”

dude hasnt even run the nitrous yet. hasnt even run full boost yet. why bother pulling everything apart to fix some trivial stuff before youve even finished building the car ?

nice car. not worth 40k…

I find it to be little funny that the reverse lights don’t work but the a/c blows cold with a car like this

I’m with Chino on this.

reverse lights are a simple connection, and wiring details are usualy left for the end

a/c, that takes a bit more work, and its the SAME work your doing to mount the engine, and making the new hoses for the A/C can be done at the same time as all the REST of the braided hoses on the car

fucking crybabys

interesting. It isn’t quite done, I don’t see what the big deal is. Not sure it’s worth the money but unique it is.

i think there was a cross over, you can see it in the pic of the turbo manifold? i thought it was for a waste-but it was probably the crossover.

And im a big fan of any type of forced induction and ive had plenty of people and friends pose the question to me, of both super and turbo charging a car, but ive never really known the right answer. But to me it seems like an unnecessary setup, i cant picture the supercharger and turbo working in complete harmony? wouldn’t the turbo start to suck more air then the super charger was spinning and cause some kind of problems?

Tracker pull trucks use multiple power adders. I’d think you would just have to make sure that they can all support the volume of air needed at WOT.

Twin charged 1600hp boat motor.

Go honda go

i think thats pretty sweet

but all of those are multiple power adders of the same type, not a mix or super and turbo, i know you can have several turbos or superchargers, i was asking if the two different types would work with each other?

siqq ae86…twin-charged
seems to work just fine for the japanese?

could have done the same, for less with an LS1

there, I said it…

Well someone had to say it.

Can’t belive noone brought up the euro gti. 1.4 litre supercharged and turbo charged.

Twinchargted refers to using both turbo and superchargers, not multiples of one or the other.

if you look at the pics, they are using a centrifugal supercharger, the ones that are similar looking to a turbo, just belt driven, i think that makes a bit more sense and seems more plausable to combine.

hate

Twincharged, juiced, and never dyno’d? I’m sure it runs great…

/hate

So it’s a 90% finished project. Looks pretty wild.

Dude’s selling a 3kGT with original paint, and numerous flaws for $39k, and it’s never been dyno’d or pushed with higher boost, and the main picture is the car being abused.

:bloated:

If you want to see a “project” that’s fine, just don’t go asking nearly $40k for half-done work.

^^^ i would love to see you try to do it just as good, with just as many name brand parts, for less money

and then im sure after it was built, you would drive it like an old lady

fucking people, its a 1000hp capable car set up for drag racing, why would you even want it to have perfect paint, and its obviously built to roast the tires, because usualy burn outs are required on 1000hp drag cars. its part of the staging process, remember ?

you sound like you built this car - why do you care so much lol, fucking relax.
