Just like title states…Need an ECU from a celica GTS just to test and see if the problem lies within the computer or the coilpacks and don’t want to waste hundreds of dollars on coil packs if they are not needed. I will gladly throw someone money to cover gas and their time. Please call/txt me if you can help. 716-3one6-8four5four
Thank you.
There is a technical service bulletin for his concern. Needs to go to the dealer to be reprogrammed.
four reelz!? well isn’t that some shit. So you’re saying it is the ECM?
id still suggest looking for another ecu. if its a 2000 gts ecu still, it should (my white one did…) have a 5900 or 6000rpm ‘lift’ engage point. if you go get it reflashed or replaced, it will raise that to 62 or 6300…i. dont remember. its been a while. but i guess that also depends if the owner really cares that much. i know i did when i owned mine so.
Yeah, I’m digging through celicas TSBs and I’m not seeing his issue even remotely being listed requiring an ECM reflash. Do you have the specific TSB #?
Looks like they modified this TSB to now include replacing the module and injectors. Good times.

Repair Procedure
^ Should a M.I.L. “ON” condition with DTC P0300 and/or P030 # be encountered, perform diagnostic procedures as described in the Repair Manual.
^ If the problem source cannot be identified after checking all affected areas according to the Repair Manual, the cause may be an ECM logic/fuel injector malfunction. In this case, replace the ECM and all 4 fuel injectors with the updated parts.
NOTE: FOR AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION-EQUIPPED VEHICLES-
With the countermeasure ECM (P/N 89666-20093) installed, the old button will not function while in the manual shifting (“M”) mode. This countermeasure has been implemented for all 2001 model year Celica GTS ATM vehicles.

Thank you sir, I did see that TSB but the MIL I’m getting however has been P1300 so I’m not sure if that would be the issue. Dunno.
