Turns out it was a different jurisdiction…right on the boarder…and when i went to the CPD station they were total rude dicks like i was doing something wrong or a huge burden, interrupting them sitting behind their glass just watching the news by asking them a question…unnecessary attitude. So CPD has yet to redeem themselves of the reputation they have.
Well at least he was decent enough to cut you slack. See sometimes when your nice to the cops they arent assholes. Granted yes you did deserve the ticket, but it is nice to know that somewhere lurks a CPO with a sense of compassion.
My own exp. with the CPD has been nothing but good, and I give them all the credit they deserve.
Life lesson learned. Drinky drinky no drivey.
compassion for what?
lol @ withdrawing an apology because they were mean to you.
you got off of a DWI you fuckin retard.
you should take the cop out to dinner and give him a reach around
you clearly suck at life
And you clearly suck at reading…
I am grateful for the officer cutting me a bit of slack, and said officer was NOT a CPD officer.
CPD have been dicks to me and many others for no reason…completely unwarranted.
Knowin how bad something like that could fuck up his life.
He coulda held him til the cop of the proper “jurisdiction”, came.
It was his get out of jail free card.
+1. The cops at the station could have taken you out back and beaten you with a hose and I’d still consider you one lucky SOB.
Again…the cop was in his own jurisdiction. I didn’t know last night since i didn’t see the car what jurisdiction the cop was from/i was in…i knew i was right on the boarder of two, and assumed it was Cheektowaga because that’s where i thought i was, but apparently i was just over a boarder…so this thread really has nothing to do with CPD any more…
you got stopped on a board of wood? that sucks dude. i woulda told em to f off, especially if it was your own board of wood
And i’d gladly take that over a DWI given the choice…and i do consider myself lucky…
So much hate from people acting as if i’m not thankful…i am, i’m very lucky, and very grateful…and i would try and find the officer and send him a gift basket or something to show my thanks but that may endanger his job.
Lucky guy, I’m glad you weren’t stuck with the burden of a DWI…
A bit of slack? LOL How about a full blown get of jail free card for a serious offense (possible criminal offense).
He just saved you from spending $6-10k and a whole boatload of issues, I’m sure.
They were rude to you? boo hoo wah wah wah…You almost got a DWI because you went out and got got hammered for some retarded polish holiday. You got cut a major break, this should be viewed as a sign from God to change your ways. Now your crying because they were dicks to you… have you ever lost anyone to a drunk driver? I have. Fuck you.
thinking about it, it may have been good for me…this was really a win win situation for me. let me explain…i get out of it, and here i am…very lucky. I don’t get out of it…i lose my license, and have to sell the Z to afford everything…i win by not having the burden of a money pit Z any more.
So say someone (not necessarily Andy) gets let off the hook for driving over the legal limit and then kills sombody else the next time out.
Would you describe that officer as being “compassionate” or “understanding” for not doing his/her job the first time? The law was broken. No feelings should come into play.
Granted, lets hope that Andy has learned his lesson even after being let off the hook. But say someone else doesn’t learn so easily without real consequences and next time something horrible happens. What then?
You’re fucking retarded. I don’t know why so many people are confusing CPD with the department that i actually had an encounter with. You’re mixing stories…CPD were and are dicks…they’ve proven it in the past, and did so again today. The other guys i’ve never had a run in until last night…
And i’m sorry for your loss in the past, i too have had a couple friends get hit, and one killed. I’m sure you don’t have any friends that ever go out for a drink or two then drive home…never ever.
Honestly, shut the fuck up.
And let me ad, I know you learned your lesson but it seems like this is a big joke to you, especially after the post I quoted above.
It’s not a joke to me, i have learned something from it…and if i can’t move on and laugh about it what can i do?
i do have friends that do that, it scares the fuck out of me because i know its probably only a matter of time. Take this experience like a man and learn from it, it seems as if you think its a big game.
