The first fully electric automobile to be produced by electric car firm Tesla Motors.
Tesla claims prototypes have been able to accelerate from 0-60 mph
(100 km/h) in about 4 seconds, and reach a top speed of 130 mph (210 km/h).
Additionally, the car will be able to travel 250 miles (400 km) on a single charge of its lithium ion batteries.

PRICE: $100,000 plus options.

I’m sure when you have 400+whp, for less than $100,000. You beg to differ…

oh, i already know what it’s like to drive a 400+ hp car and having it suck gas like it were spring water :mad:

if gas prices ever went to $1.50/L, i would definately entertain the idea of selling my z.

“spirited” driving yields about 300 km’s …

“pussy” driving yields about 400 km’s …

“super-pussy” driving (shifting at 2000 rpm all the time) probably could yield 450 km’s.

Spirited gets me around 300km
Normal gets me between 450-550km
Super-pussy? I’m sorry, I dont do that. But highway gets me 650km

But how much does it cost for you guys to fill up a tank?
I get about 300KM to the tank with regular driving and I can get 450 if I do all highway. That’s on a $60 tank of premium.
That equates to 8/9mpg
The Twin Turbo version gets 18/22mpg city in stock form at 300HP
That’s one of the main reasons I’m looking forward to this swap. Even if I do the mild upgrades, get 400RWHP I can still be beating the fuel efficiency of my car right now.

Electric car like that… I’ll buy if they put the motors/batteries in a 300ZX and make my car out of all aluminum or carbon fiber.
The numbers are really good.

350Z gas tank is 60L plus 10-15L of reserve (never tried bottoming the reserve).

i’ve filled up to 68 L before, but was getting a bit worried since the light was getting so bright, it seemed like it was trying to tell me to ****ing go to a gas station “OR ELSE” :slight_smile:

I’ve filled up 72L before… lol I got seriously scared since I didn’t drive THAT long with the light on…

that car came out about a year ago an it revs up to 13 000 rpm if im not mistaken btw gas has been over $1.50/L in europe thats y some people over there consider 1.3L engine big
