Electronic Map that you can "plot pins"?????

Is there a such thing as some map I can use on my computer to plot pins so to speak? Basically, i need to manage my salesman’s territories and follow their sales call trends, but i don’t really want to go buy a 8’ poster to plot pins on. I’d also like to send this map through email to my salesmen.

any ideas?

also, i’ll need to be able to zoom in and out; zooming in obviously to show more detail on the location

edit: im finding stuff online… i’d prefer something free

not that i know of… im using it as a sales tracker tool. it not just a map, it’s to keep track of accounts, plot A B C accounts, account for where my salesmen have been and when… etc etc

Arcmap is what I use for school and used it during my internships. But I do not think you are going to spend the money to get this software from ESRI

i’m not opposed to spending the money if it’s going to help me do my job more efficiently. Managing 8 salesman and over 1000 potential customers statewide can be a bit overwhelming without the right tools

google EARTH is free to download you can plot pins and change pin colors

you can also add notes to the pins
