Looking for a small device to record digital video. My basic requirements are:

1.) Small
2.) Capable of storing 45mins of low resolution video
3.) Battery powered
4.) Somehow adaptable from an RCA video output.

any ideas? Please post links.

How small are we talking about. Pretty much it sounds like you’ll need a smaller digital camera with the ability to capture on a memory card.

I’m making/designing a unit that involves a specialized camera. The camera is not a plug and play kit… i have to design and build the cirucit board as well. I’ve already developed a board that feeds the camera power (with voltage regulator) and converts the video as an RCA output.

I doesn’t have to be super small, but the device zerodaze posted will work. Still looking for other options though as well.

Why don’t you get one of those new Webcams that work over wireless?

because this is a special application. I have the camera i need…i just need a way to store the data within a small compact device.

i will see what my vendors have.

just ordered a mini dvr with 2.5" LCD display. 4 1/4" x 2 1/4" x 1" w/ 4hrs of recordability.
