yea, i took 2nd place street bike… yet the jeep didnt get anything… lol. Thats what does suck about shows. Trucks that will never see a spec of dirt their entire life will always score above the REAL 4x4’s in the 4x4 class. Its all good though, all the jeep trophies just sit in the jeep between shows collecting dust… lol. It was cool to get something for the bike though.
that’s all i was saying. i enjoyed the show and definitely respect all the work that went into (some of) the cars, a lot of them just weren’t to my taste, which is to be expected.

Its not worth getting it registered and inspected, it nots exactly fuel efficient and paved roads are hell on the wheel bearings, he has broke a few of them, I actually drive it home from Boston one year for him and destroyed one on the way home.
Definitely had a great time at the show. Will go back again! Always good to see new and old faces that you don’t normally see!
yea i went again this morning and got second place nissan…sorry i didn’t see you guys before i left. i spent most the afternoon at the bar! joey and i had a good roll race from 3rd.
as for the show it was my first time and i loved it and def plan on going every year from now on.

The guy who owned it came up to me and chatted. He was nice enough, he daily drives the car so it’s not in any kind of mint condition. Cant fault him for that, I just hate body kits.
ah, yes. i see that pretty often with aftermarket body kits. its tough to pick one that lines up perfect, that or you have to do hella body work to get all the gaps nice and small and even like OEM stuff.
yea i dont drive the jeep on the road anymore just for the sheer fact that there is no way anyone would pass it for inspection, and anything above 45ish is hell in that thing. I would like to be able to drive it more offroad, but there are very few legal trails around here and I do not trust my dodge 1500 with 3.55 gears for towing long distances due to the fact that it is a dodge transmission, and the jeep with trailer weigh in around 7500#-8000# and the max tow capacity of the truck is 7500#… so its starting to push it quite a bit. Im hopefully gonna be hitting up the trail expo at the end of august for some mud racing, but we shall see how she holds up.
your cars awesome, but it will never be a car for car shows, people seem to still not get that car shows our a overall thing, so when you have a lot of catagories stock you wont do well, even if you have an amazing car, same reason why i take second and third a lot of times.
i have more respect for cars like Ryans supra or your MR2 because you guys actually drive them. pure show cars are like a sugar flower display models ,they cant do anything but sit there. they can hardly go up onto a trialer. your cars are driven around, so my respect goes to guys like you. i also dont like cars that done up by a shop and the driver doesnt know shit about em. they just came into a shop, put down a credit card on the counter and said “make it cool”.
