Trying to sell an Escort 8500 x50 radar detector with the upgraded software. It comes with the mount, the power cord, and a carrying case with the owners manuals. Few scratches on the top, but doesn’t affect performance. This was my original detector, then i had a solo s2 for a while (sold on this forum), then i got a 9500 ix and this was my backup detector. All have worked great, but i can’t drive two cars at once haha. Asking $180 but open to reasonable offers. New these are $300.
I’ve been using my 8500 x50 for around 3 years now and I still couldn’t be happier with it. It’s saved me countless amounts of times.
Yea they are great, i got the 9500ix just for an upgrade and i had another old 8500 that i turned in for 80 bucks plus some rebate i had.
My x50 died last week. Hhhhmmmm
I’ll save you some money, if you ship it in, they’ll fix everything for about a $100 bucks. Not sure if you know about this, so i figured i’d help you out haha
Is there much difference between this and the newer X50 Black? Whats the upgraded software get you?
I do not have the black so I couldnt really tell you. The update was done before the black came

Non x50 8500 and that one still works great
