Man you dont go posting pictures up after something tramatic like this happens, its totally disrespectful. sorry for your loss man, may i ask why it caught fire. I have an 89 to, nice to have a little heads up on maybe something we should look for or check to prevent this from happening to someone else.
Agree with S13counterpart… I’ve got a '90, but its a piggy as well… Its sad seeing that happen to our already low population of Zenki S13s…
But yeah, fill us in on how it happened, just to give others a heads up on what to look out for.
Also, since this is a part out, do you have a working hatch release and fuel door release cable in proper working condition? I’ve gotta go to the hatch lock everytime I use the lever since my cable has so much tension, it doesn’t release the lock to keep the hatch down when I close it, at the same time, the gas door doesn’t open unless I open the hatch and pull the assembly out to open and reinstall it to lock it shut… Got a few looks at the gas stations here…
Also looking at your front turn signals, mine were vandalized (smashed) so I need new ones…
i had installed a fuel cut-off switch and ran it to the fuse box… my guess is that the wires werent properly attached and it probably came loose… shorted… and started sparking and i had relocated my fuel filter… it was right beside the fuse box… and POOF!!! i had come off the highway… i herd some poping noises and they my tach started jumping my lights started going off… so i killed the ignition and jumped out while it was still moving… the ebrake finally brought it to a stop… and i watched her burn… it was soooo fucking sad man…
and yes to xsnrge all of the interior is available and the hatch lock, and cable are mint… you can come and grab them anytime you want/// and im not too sure if the turn signals are still good but i will check and let you know/.
