Just like I thought, Lewis Hamilton has the kick some serious ass :smiley: :tspry:

Alonso tested for the first time too, he must have :suckoff: Flavio’s the night before to get out of his contract so he could drive.

Marco Andretti did pretty well too in his test with Honda F!, as did Sebastian Bourdais, who tested with Torro Rosso.

I’m sure Mike is liking that idea. He’ll probably be doing backflips if SeeBass bumps Speed out of the Torro Rosso ride.

I would be soooo happy if Speed gets bumped. But I dont see it happening this season, I’d say it’s likely for '08 though. Winter testing doesnt really mean that much lap times wise. I dont see Hamilton being fastest at Jerez anywhere near an indicator of the season to come.

Me either, I just think he won’t fall flat on his face. There are people thinking that he shouldn’t be there, that Ron Dennis elevated him too soon, but I think the kid is ready to go.

Comparing his laps with the other first timer with experience (See bass), he’s quicker, and he’s already faster than Toyota, so I think that bodes well.

If Ron Dennis think’s someone has the skills, I’ll take his word for it. Despite what someone I respect (Coulthard) says otherwise :wink:
