Formula 1 silly season continues

Well… Silly season continues and Alonso has returned to Renault. I had read rumors that McLaren might take him back but was doubtful considering the tension within the team. I guess Flavio still loves him though.

And rumor is that Heikki might land at McLaren. He is definitely good enough to deserve a ride with someone…

Still can’t believe Renault got off without a penalty for their spy stuff.

I can, they weren’t winning, or more importantly, beating Ferrari. I still stand by the belief that all of the teams cheat and spy on each other (or at least spy on Ferrari), the only ones that will be punished are the ones that win and get caught.

Honestly, it’s like that in every racing series. The winner will always be under increased scrutiny.

Kovalainen confirmed as the second driver for McLaren.

maybe i will start to try to pick up this sport for the season… i typically only follow motorcycle racing… whats a good place to learn the basics rick? i know NOTHING about formula cars or racers… or tracks… lol… nothing

+1 I always catch random portions of random races and love to watch.

I’d just start watching the US broadcasts that you can catch. Seasoned fans hate the commentators because they’re shallow and very basic (because very few people in the US know much about F1). This is perfect for a newcomer though.

awesome site… thanks

First days of open testing at Jerez.

Check out the two videos. Massa almost pulls a Joey Hand (See Mid Ohio), and it’s AWESOME to see the back ends jumping around as they fight for traction under acceleration and braking.

Fuckin ROCK! RBR livery is always great.

Still like Torro Rossi livery over Red Bull livery.
