It most certainly is…and a pretty pile of parts at that! If I was to guess, yeah, you are right…this thread is 97% BS at a minimum. But, it pains me (LOL) to think that though that bullshit, that my name hasnt come up yet. Oh well…underestimation could make for one hell of a fun summer…it already has made my winter interesting. VISA>Me. Yeah, I have promised a fast car before, I understand that…but I would say I deserved a pass on that time as I sold that car before summer came.

If this package goes together without problems, I will be out racing this summer. Realistically, it has to, as the car will be shown in Las Vegas in September. At least a few of the people are from this board. As I previously pointed out, there are a few stipulations:

EDIT- I feel I should add in here that I am not directly addressing you here Howie…this is just the jist of what I was talking about a month or two back.

1. I am not fucking racing everybody just so you can see a Viper go fast. I will take on some of the guys I feel would give me a run.

2. I do not intend on racing from a dig, as I am purpose building the car as a street car (read, highway/twisty roads) with insane power that can be detuned for road course use. The suspension, tire, rim, and gear choice are absolutely not intended for going from a dig, and I am definitely not dropping the extra cash for two sets of equipment on an already off the scale project to race a couple yahoos…ONCE, doing something I dont really enjoy. Besides, I dont give a fuck who’s car is quicker off the line…I care who’s car is actually faster. I dont drag race, and I am not planning on starting.

I will come around when I can, literally. I have a lot of shit to do not including this insane project…gotta get it done first, and not put the cart before the horse. However, I also posted that I would race a few people for kicks even if the project is partially completed. Call-outs wont work in this case, so no one should bother. I look at it as IF the Law ever shows up, who the hell do you think the cops are going to chase? LOL, for that matter, would they even have to? They would just wait for me at my house.

But last i talked you had phased out what you planned to do over a longer period of time. Not sure if youre still sticking to that, sounds like this thing may come together quicker then i thought eh?

It appears so… Business has been good, and it looks like by the time I have a running drivetrain, I will have enough back on credit to finish the project. I am hopeful it will be running, driving by May, Visually complete by end of June, and Completed by end of July. I may lose a month of driving in the summer, but so be it. I gotta do what I gotta do.

I am working an average of 60 hours a week on this thing, going through it from top to bottom…it will be a brand new car all over again…with some “extras”. This is one project that absolutley has to go as planned, no matter what I have to do. I have to show this car in September, where they will be 2000 potential customers, 2500 miles away from here. And if that isnt enough pressure, I will have a clone of this car to build next fall IF it goes as planned.
