Just picked this up and seeing if anyone wants it before I put a clutch in it. Its a VX which means great MPG’s, no Power steering. The car is from North Carolina so its only been up here for two years. The rear is just starting t show rust as you can see on the passenger side.
This would be an excellent swap candidate.
It does need rear wheel bearings and a clutch, its toast. The tires are good but they are winter tires. They are like new. Brakes feel good. Suspension was all done last year and a new alternator as well. The car currently has 334,XXX miles on it which is a lot but the engine runs smooth and you couldn’t tell. Exhaust is nice and quiet as well.

EDIT: There are a few things I should add, the car was painted at one time and there are some scratches and little dings here and there. Im saying this because the pictures make it look newer or something. Its in good shape for its age, interior is pretty good as well. Just throwing this out there so people dont think its better then it is from the pictures. This civic does have cruise control though and a 6 disc cd changer,lol.
A good buff and wax and the car could look really good, I might even do it on sunday if I have time and post new pics with my good camera.
The miles are high but who cars the car is solid, underside is clean. Even if down the road you had to throw a long block in there for $100 this would do another 300k
↑ Its gonna be more, I ordered a clutch, water pump, valve cover gasket, timing belt, rear wheel bearings. After I get done with a few things in my house I will toss all the parts on and up the price. If your still interested let me know.
No shit, the most I have seen. To be honest you cant tell by looking or listening to the motor. The valve cover bottom and valve train are super clean. The old guy that owned it drove the shit out it but kept up on it as well. 50MPG on the cheap, its gonna be a good deal for someone. Im looking for $1800 with all the new parts installed.
