in reality, his CR will destroy your YZ from either. the sad thing is, i wouldnt be surprised if u jumped him off the line hahaha. but he’d reel u in no prob. drag racing bikes doesnt mean shit, but its fun if there is room to do it. i’ve lined up my RM against him many times. if anything it helps you practice your starts.

about a bike and a half at the top of 5th…we were pretty much even till the top of my gears then he’d creep ahead.
not bad. usually when me and bics line up, if he gets a decent launch he’ll walk away with authority. but 9 times out of 10 he’s playin catch-up from the start. but he could fall over, get back up and still reel in the RM, if given enough room.
jims bike is just too much for me i can’t even go wot in 4th without it trying to kill me

what year 250? It had to be a 75 then…unless either the dude riding the CR sucks at launching and had to play catch up big time or didnt know you 2 were racing. There were times when I would line up against smokey’s RM and pull the most massive wheelie off the line and almost flipped over and he got a huge jump on me(like 8 bike lengths) then by the top of third I’d be going past him at a pretty fast pace. keep in mind you start out in 2nd on a 250. By the time I was in 5th tapped I was like 15 bike lengths ahead.

hhaha. ive seen 4th about wide on my 250 on dirt. that was scary, but the jump wasnt bad. but ya, 5th tapped in the dunes cant be fk’d with on a 250
been there, done that. The adrenaline of having your bike screaming in 5th as fast as it will go while aimed at a huge ass pile of sand = win
We should all take a trip out to Silver Lake Sand Dunes up in Michigan. Its about a 7 hour drive but its fucking awesome up there. Best weekend i’ve ever had bar none.
