so after some bullshit wiring, smashed knuckles and some frustrating nights my vert is all finished and i just got back from a nice 1 hour drive. the convertibles only came auto and now that it is 5 speeding 
my top wont go down ( " the top gets poped the panties drop") anyway i believe it is because of the fact the the car had to be in park to use the top, just wondering if anybody knows how to get around it othere then taking all the hydrolic shit out. thanks! pictures will be up soon hopefully putting a cage in through the week so i can make it to cscs.

if i recall there was a thread on the 240sx convertible forum that will solve your problem with the top.
there’s a wire you have to snip. i’ll find out tomorrow and shoot you a text. or just take the power shit out because its lame. haha
you could read your owners manual and, turn the valve thereby operating it in manual mode
