first attempt at powder coating

So I just bought a powder coater and for my first attempt I decided to do one of my 3 valve covers. Turned out alright, a bit of orange peeling but not bad for my first attempt

Wicked.

Try holding the gun a little further away with more coats. Might be too much of a collection of paint to make it peel like that.

Otherwise looks great.

Thanks, I’m looking forward to powder coating my intercooler piping once I modify it to fit my new turbo.

Nice job! Where did you get the powder coater and how much did it set ya back?

I bought it off someone on beyond. I paid $75.00 for it with quite a bit of powder.
