Does the vendor publish the gains with their kit? I know most available for my car just claim to be “better than stock”. Nobody really says how many btu’s their unit can pull or how much less pressure drop there is compared to the stock core. In a perfect world, the best you can get to with an intercooler is ambient air temperature. The question is, how much closer to ambient does the $X00 kit come compared to the stocker? (are you paying $600 to drop 6°F?)
Best mod I did was a downpipe swap, going from 2 factory cats to one high flowing cat. Really noticed how much quicker the turbo spooled - even with the rest of the stock exhaust. Seemed like the best bang for the buck. I’ll vote for exhaust in general I guess…
