i have a trade offer to consider, i told the dude no moves till after this sunday but he wants:
LT and Santana Moss for…
Marshall Faulk, Dominic Davis, and Michael Pittman or Ron Dayne
currently i run LT and eddie “no yards” george or Dominic Davis’s backups since he hurt a wheel last week. I’m thinking of doing the trade come monday morning, anyone see any downsides (mind you it’s a TD league and teams are just teeing off on LT since San Diego has no offense other than him)
i play in a salary cap league where you can have anyone on your team you want and other teams can have the same people as long as you stay under a 100 bucks. each player has a cost and it goes up or down based on how they play the prior week. so your goal is to make the best team of players each week which isnt easy! im winning my league but overall im like 29,xxx place out of 60,xxx and the leaders have like over 100 more points than me!
12 team league, rbs are at a premium so the only place he could move to is free agency where he’ll die… :stick: he looked ok as a late round pick in august (ps, charlie garner was the other back till he blew out his knee for the year :sadwavey: peace knee)
Being that you are hurting at RB, I would make the move. If Faulk can stay healthy he has the potential to light up the score boards, with his catchs out of the back field. Also Davis is really underrated by most
Keep LT and try to trade for curtis martin, the guy is a solid 1000 back every year and he catches passes. LT was my first pick and well worth it. I’m currently 3-1. I also have jamal lewis so that helps too
bc he’s not in my division so i don’t care what his record is…
lt has 3 stinkin touches all season and every team has 8 in the box agst him. i start brady who is diesel, my WR;s suck, my D is changed everyweek based on whoever plays a shitty team, i have nothing to offer trade wise than LT… and 2 starters are better than one great starter. i’m pulling the trigger tomorrow when trades open again, but i’m gonna try to get 3 guys, maybe a 3rd rb or a wr.
we did that 2 years ago it was kinda cool but most guys didn’t seem to check up on the defensive stats. last week of the season there were guys starting injured dbs and stuff like that. plus alot of times, especially with dbs, they’ll get like 2 picks in one game and then suck for weeks on end. i mean polamolu looks good on paper, but in real life he’s so so. the team thing is just easier for a league with married guys with kids who love football, but just can’t put the time in to research anymore. :blue:
maybe im just jealous because im my league i had 3rd pick. after priest and LT, i thought i had a sweet pick w/ Portis. little did i know that him (and the rest of his beat ass team) were going to be complete turds this year.
