For sale is my peanut “chippy.” this is robert’s old car.
the good:
52XXX original miles
OG hawaii car(badge on the dash states, Aloha Week, 1973)
car is all original, in great shape and is all here.
paint is mostly great for the year.
only changes are MSD elec. ign. system/new plug wires and cressida wheels and centercaps.
runs/drives AWESOME for a 36 year old car(ive taken it on several hundred mile or more trips with no problems whatsoever)
gets A LOT of attention where ever it goes.
the bad:
small leak in the head gasket(does not require constant attention, just check the oil every few weeks)
dash has 2 minor cracks
driver seat has minor tear, as does the top of the rear seat
slight damage on the hood/cowl
the price.
i paid robert $4200+the money to make up the 3%w.union cost AND$800 in shipping) in december of last year{{{so i did the hard part and got it shipped to the eastcoast}}}
the lowest i will let this VERY nice example of an almost completely all original OG Te21 is what i paid for it, which is $4200 in cash in hand.
on to the pictures:
thanks for the kind words joe.
i just really need to get to one car. thats why i bought the scooby.
owning 3 is kind of cool, but with maintenance and owning three cars that totaled 54years of age i figured it was wise to just get to one nice DD and a 250 street bike like kevin.
besides its more rewarding to do things to a car to make it perform better(than original) than to have to do things to a car to make it perform originally(and dont take that the wrong way, there is nothing at all wrong with the corolla, i just think it is the right time to have money to spend on my family and myself=) than to have 3 cars.
