It’s a bit of a story but, here’s the short history of this car since my brother has had it.
Bought last spring for 800 running but needed a bunch of things for inspection. So we took care of them and got it inspected (list to follow) within a few thousand miles the tranny locked up. We tried to replace the tranny with a used tranny, which turned out to be a mistake. The plates in the tranny had dried out and it was bad. of course we still paid the mechanic not only for removing/reinstalling the tranny but also replaced the radiator and put a new distributor on - oh yeah and changed out the fuel pump. So it ran, altough it smokes a little until it’s warmed up. but now it doesn’t drive…
At this point we all just want to walk away from the car. With Purchase we have over $3,000 into it. We would just like to recoup $500 of it back.
Here’s a list of what I can remember we replaced, I’ll come back and add to it if I remember more.
All four Sway bar end links (front and rear)
Both Front Control Arms (due to abd ball joints)
Both inner and outer tie rod ends (didn’t need all, but got package deal)
Rear swaybar bushings
Driver’s rear Caliper
All Rotors and Pads
more recently,
New radiator
New distributor
Replaced fuel pump (w/used oem part)
I don’t remember what else but i know there were a few more things.
I forgot to get the mileage off of the car, but will try to get it (parked on the other side of the city)
Asking $500, if we can’t sell it in a few weeks than I’ll be glad to part it out since it will then go to the scrap yard.

you’re probably right. For some reason I’ve always referred to it as a 92? and probably always been wrong. it’s on Craigslist now and getting a little activity. I’m fairly confident it’s gonna get scrapped. but still want to give another week before throwing in the towel.
doug who played w/ probes use to pay me to part them out and he would ebay the parts. he would get a probe/mx6 and bank an easy 1500 on ebay. rear disk conversion from e-brake cables back, sell the solenoids off the head. the harmonic balancer sperate, tons of little stuff that would just add up.
If I had the time to ebay it out, I would gladly do so… but I don’t have the space to park it, the time to break it down, or the time to ebay it all… I also think I would need to know a little better what was worth keeping. But if someone wants to have a go at it… I’ll let it go CHEAP!
