I used to drive a forklift. We watched a video on it, received training on the forklift and changing the propane, and filling it. No liscence.

I drive a forklift 7 hours a day at work for the past 5 years… I know I have to get recertifed every 3 years for osha.

We never had to have this happen. OSHA never said anything to us. This could be company policy not OSHA.
osha or whatever makes you get a cert to operate forklifts, atleast in my experience.
I think they changed it so forklift certs are given by your employer and expire if you get fired/quit, at least that’s what my old boss told me. I drove them uncerted though.
I have zero certificates saying I am qualified to operate a forklift. I was simply trained by my employer and I can assure you that my employer is OSHA kosher and everything is legit. It is a hundred million dollar operation.
