I found a set of keys to an old chevy something at my mom’s house the other day, showed them to her and she said “i’ve been looking for those for 20 years now, where the hell did you find them?”
Turns out they went to a 86 malibu wagon that she sold before i was even born.
Found that pretty interesting.
Flew in from Kanasas. Paid cash. Drove back to Kanasas. I said it needed a tune and got the “don’t worry, i’ll baby it”
Street Raced it within 1 day, 8K redline dump, broke the tranny. Replaced tranny with a 5 speed from a 1G that was notchy. Parted it.
I found the last remaining part, the stereo and confirmed the security code with the new owner.
