sorry i wasnt more clear the first time around. and i totaly i missed the post that said that it was in fact a mako shark

i was asking if this is teh only one in the area because the kid i met had said that someone he knows has a Mako shark (one of those “my friends neighors 3rd uncle” type deals)

he had a TON of wild claims about that cars, like 97% of the parts were custom, and everything was barcoded, the engines were totaly custom made - to the point that nothing else from chevy would bolt up … and on and on …

the only thing that made me wonder about the kids story was that he had certian details to the story that made it sound like he actualy knew SOME stuff about the Mako’s.

just thought id ask if this was the only local one, because it would be funny if this was the car i heard so much crazy bullshit about

mmmm there is really nothing custom about the car execept the body of it, but i mean it has a 468 in it and a 400 turbo and all chevy parts, as for others in the area i have no idea. ask the kid next time you see him what color the car is and who exactly owns it? it would be funny though to call him out on his bullshit if this is the car he is talking about.

i cant remember who it was that told me the story, it was either a kid from high school, of one of my brothers old friends … but it was definantly a story i will never forget :lol:
