Positive crank ventilation, think about the vacuum that would be drawn out just from the fluid mechanics of it, that is what I woul assume though

it would be cheaper and easier than wiring up an AIR pump drawing it out

Same setup on my car,its also better compared to a standard breather so the engine doesnt get covered with oil spray.
