Wasn’t this a volunteer thing anyway? I know someone how was just deployed to Turkey Sunday but he volunteered to do so, he says in the off time it is a huge party scene.

I came over with arrangements with work and school, for the alloted time i was going to be here… Now with the extra days I, have to miss another semester of school since i Missed too much, and my job is based on my affiliation with the University. So Unless I can come up with something good I don’t know how I will be able to have my job for this semester.
There are a few other things that this screws me out of, but there is no reason to vent, Everytime i go some where there is always this potential problem, its happened before, and it will probably happen again.
I’m suppose to leave relatively soon, I have a date, and I find out tomorrow If I will be coming home on that date … soo…
Regardless of your policital affiliation you should be able to see that condemning a country you’re depending on because it borders a country you’re at war with isn’t a real smart idea. When the condemnation is about something that happened 100 years ago it makes even less sense and reeks of political games.
To operate in the Middle East theater Turkey is a critical ally. Anyone with a shread of common sense would weigh the cost of raising hostilities with them against the gains of condemning them for a genocide that happened before anyone in power now was born and realize this isn’t the best time.
Oil hit a record high today, in part due to these new tensions. Can’t wait until this party is completely in charge in 08.

Spitzer found the solution already…give the illegal’s a free pass. Take away all the limitations that are on their temporary diver’s licenses and make it so they can get one with less than 7 pts of ID. C’mon…imean…how does that NOT make us safer? Letting non citizens obtain a NY driver’s license that does not say when their visa runs out or any of that shit.
