Finally finding time to start restoring my Freihofer’s Willys Wagon. The serial number is 54168 which states that it is a 6 cyl - 226 4x4 Station Wagon. Built in 1959 and they built 8,165 SW that year. The second serial number is 40873 which means it was the 1,676 SW made out of the 8,165.

No lift for this baby, pure resto. Going to need alot of metal fab but the 226 flathead runs like a boss.

Jeep wagon looks like an awesome project. I would have the itch to swap something in it. Good thing its in your hands and not mine.

i’d put a 2" ~ 3" lift on it, and some meatier tires.
