If you want your cat shark to be more active switch your light cycle. Essentially there will be lights on 24 hours a day. During the day have your “viewing” lights on(actinic), and during the night when nobody looks at it have it full blast with white light, then he will sleep at night. I did this with a pair of nurse sharks at a resteraunt Monteray Bay in Beaver Valley Mall…worked out great.
