Posting for a buddy who’s selling his Fox. See below:
hey i’ve got a 1988, 4 door, manual 4 speed fox that i’ve had for about 2 years and would like to now sell because i bought another car.
so the car has now been sitting since august, i was daily driving it until i parked it. it was running good and everything worked. the only changes i’ve noticed was its got a oil leak when i started it the other day.
the bad:
- front and rear lowering springs (good!) but the fronts had an extra coil cut off (bad!)
- front tires <10% tread
- small oil leak while running (may need valve cover gasket)
- runs a little rough until it warms up
the good:
- new ball joints
- new tie rod end
- new fuel filter
- new rad and heater hoses
- 5 spoke BWA wheels
- shaved door molding, antenna and side marker lights
Never had any problems, it served me well as a reliable car. i’m asking $700 or best offer
