I have a 1989 Fastback. Its a fixer upper, or can be used for parts. Its midnight blue, automatic. 135xxx km. I am the second owner of the car, except for some dealers in between. Im looking for $800 as is. Or best offer. I will not part it out, I have no time or place.
Good:
-Very Strong engine. Slight rough idle, but other than that its fine. Pulls strong.
-Interior is pretty much flawless, except for some minor wear on drivers seat’s left side. Have original 240sx floor mats, but in rough shape.
-Did brake job like 3000km ago. Replaced all rotors, all pads, and 3 calipers. One caliper was still good so i kept it. It might have been replaced by a previous owner.
-Replaced exhaust from the catback around 8000km ago.
-New front drivers side ball joint. This was replaced a week ago. So maybe 250k on it.
Problems:
-Frame is in rough shape.
-Something wrong with front suspension. Im not too sure what exactly. Car pulls to passenger side. Steering wheel vibration thats starts at around 80km/h. Humming noise that starts at around 40km/h and gets louder with speed. The noise is louder when turning left and not too bad when turning right. Possibly wheel bearing.
-Needs new front tires. But i have a set of 4 all seasons that I will throw in.
-Body is in average shape. Main problem area is the driver side rocker panel. Theres is rust on the passenger side rocker but not as bad as driver side rocker. Passenger side door hinge area has some rust. As well as a tiny bit on the inside of the hatch. But the hatch overall is in good shape as it has/had no spoiler.
-Fuel gauge is stuck below E.
-Overdrive button doesnt stay locked in, but i ziptied it in place.
Extras:
-As mentioned, im throwing in a set of 4 all-seasons. They probably have like 80-90% thread left on them.
-Factory Service Manual
-Sun roof cover with case. Apparently this a rare item lol.
-Extra MAF sensor.
-K$N drop-in air filter. Right now theres a cone filter being used.
I also have a stereo system in it, but that is not included in the price as I want to keep it for my self. If someone really wants the stereo though I’ll take another $650 on top of the car price.
